First, tape down the  corner of the stencil to hold in place. You can use a light table to emboss.

Place stencil down first, put paper over it and then use a little wax paper to rub over the back of your paper.

Take the stylus and trace the inside cut outs. Turn paper with stencil on top over once embossed and use our non smear pastels to color in.

The stencils can also be used without embossing, by just coloring them in.
